Hey friends!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful time with their families and friends this past week. I want to take a moment to recognize that the holidays can be an extremely painful, nostalgic time for some dealing with loss and other hard circumstances. I am here for you all<3 I headed back home for a fun, joyful, yet chaotic week in my hometown. I love seeing my dear friends and family, but I was on the plane back to NYC with lots of happiness to be headed home. This next month is going to be the final push of the semester, and I already feel the lack of motivation from the cold weather. If anyone has any tips on fighting the mood of winter, please let me know! I also have hopeful anticipation for the next few weeks, as I get to spend it with my best friends doing some fun winter activities. I love ice skating (seriously one of my favorite things to do). So, getting hot chocolate, taking film, reading, ice skating, all that good stuff is definitely going to help me fight against my internal anguish toward winter lol. Anyway, with that little update, I want to share a playlist that I've accumulated from many of my friends' music, other playlists I've found (specifically "An Afternoon at the Met" on Spotify), and similar sources that remind me of a winter transition playlist. I am on Apple Music (I know, I know... don't come for me), but will transition it to Spotify and put the links below.

Also, can't go without some poetry since it's my new obsession, so here is just one for y'all today.
"Redeye"
Red, burgundy, burning
Even behind my eyes, I see the flame
Don't you worry, though, I only think about you
Early on the 747 or 12:22 a.m. sometimes, too
Youthful flashbacks as the sun beam from the window zaps
Even me, who has slept on the jagged graves of my future hopes, can't sleep in this sky
Deep love,
Nina Lee
