Summer Staples - Clothes, Accessories, and More!!!

Hiii! I am sitting in my bed at home, listening to What We Said podcast (my FAV podcast--- go listen for great content) since I just had knee surgery on Friday. I am definitely trying to walk more but the pain is not completely gone, so I am still taking it pretty easy. Anyway, since I have been in bed for like three days now haha, I have been browsing Pinterest and online shopping WAY too much. However, I did get some great summer outfit inspiration and rediscovered some of my favorite brands, so I thought I should share it with y'all!

1. Sunday Best Tank from Aritzia - tank tops are perfect for summer! I love a cute, yet simple halter or razor back tank that can be dressed up with a little jewelry or worn for your early morning bagel and coffee run before work! Brandy Melville has some great tank tops, too, that are super simple and comfy, but my fave ever is from Aritzia. It gives off a casual, yet chic vibe with the striped pattern (they only have solid colors on the website now), yet is so soft and amazing quality. 2. Hair Clips from Anthropologie - I rarely get anything from Anthro mostly because it gets pretty pricey, but these clips were the best purchase ever! I am loving hair clips right now, but the cheap ones I get from Target keep breaking since my hair is getting longer, thicker, and heavier. 3. Baseball Hats from Brandy Melville - I am not usually one to wear baseball hats all that often, but in the summer I just think they go so well with any outfit I put together. A cute tank, ripped mom jeans, converse, and a baseball hat is such a summer vibe, and I have been obsessed (especially since my face and scalp get sunburned so easily too). 4. Tote Bag from McNally Jackson - McNally Jackson is an adorable bookshop in NYC (my local one is at Seaport) and their totes are my favorite essential in the city! 5. Black Converse from Urban Outfitters - My black converse go with me everywhere. I love wearing cute floral prints, skirts, and light colors then contrasting it with a black hightop, especially in the summer. This shoe gets better with age too, as the more it wears down, the cuter it looks LOL. 6. Polka-Dot Dress from Zara - This dress is BEAUTIFUL, and I cannot wait to wear it for just about every occasion. It can be so easily dressed up for a fun summer wedding, or worn casually with some white, red, or black sneakers. It is nice, cool fabric and a super flattering cut. 7. Woody WD/18 Fragrance from Neighborhood Goods - This perfume is my new essential. I have been stuck to the same perfume for years, but I recently found this one and am IN LOVE. It has strong, rustic notes, but isn't too overpowering. I usually go for a more sweeter, sappier smell--- but this scent is lighter on the sweet side. 8. Jenni Bick Custom Journals - My leather journal is my best friend--- it goes everywhere with me. Mine is custom, but was gifted as a graduation present. It is beautiful red leather with my name engraved in the bottom. The pages aren't lined, so I can scribble away. Personally, a good journal is messy --- my brain works faster than my hand can write, so scribbles are always a good sign for me.
